Why is ren and stimpy banned

The episode did not see airtime until the Adult Party Cartoon. Amping up the adult themes, the show received a TV-MA rating. Terrible reviews and adverse fan reaction caused the cancellation of the show after only three of the six planned episodes were aired.

Happy, happy, happy! Joy, joy, joy! It is implied several times that Ren may be older than Stimpy, perhaps by a large margin. The studio is yet to order a third Super Lovers season, which makes it difficult for us to predict an air date. However, the installment might come around as early as Studio Deen has enough source material.

George Liquor tells them NOT to go anywhere near the couch, then instructs them to do just that so they can be punished. When he begins to become enraged by them not following his orders, Ren freaks out and collapses to the floor sobbing, and a terrified Stimpy hurls himself onto the couch as George had instructed, only to be yelled at.

Stimpy is scared, thinking he is going to be punished. Instead, George compliments him for following orders and gives him another dog treat. Then George asks Ren to ask him for punishment. But George insists that Ren is too "soft" for punishment and instead gives him 20 dollars and tells him to take the car and see a movie as well. Ren points out that the fish already took the car and it looks like George is going to be enraged.

Instead, he gives Ren another 20 dollars for being a smart mouth. Lastly, he teaches them go to protect their "master". But before they learn to defend, they have to learn to attack. Adopted by George Liquor, Ren and Stimpy get a lesson in obedience by the over-stimulated American consumer. The George C. Scott-inspired Liquor is hilarious because his overt chauvinism is undone by his own actions.

Ren the abuser simply gets to keep abusing. Adult Party Cartoon seemed doomed from the start. I just wanted to make it the way I always did. The stories even came from the first 2 seasons of the show, but we added stuff hat the executives thought would be more like South Park. There are a few scenes that I would take out if I had my own way. On Nickelodeon, the show found new and creative ways to test censors and their audience, and part of that fun was being in on the joke.
